I am a junior at Vale High School; I started out angry about having to take the Allied Health Class and was going to get out of it. As the class went on, I became very interested and now: “I have a dream that one day as a nurse I’ll be able to comfort those in pain because people should not live in discomfort. I have a dream that every family that walks in a hospital would feel secured knowing I am their nurse.
I have changed my attitude about school, and life in general. I have a goal and I know I can achieve it. I have increased my grades from a “C” to an “A”. I hope to live the nightingale pledge, to practice my profession faithful, to aid the physician and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care.
